I wanna play it all the more just to see what all is different besides the families and rival hook-ups. Like HM Bizarro World. xD

In HM 64 Rick is the blacksmith and owns a tool shop, Popuri and her mother have the flower shop (don't think there's any relation to Rick), and Karen... is paired with Kai. O_O If I remember correctly, that is, because it's been a LONG time since I've played the game and never did REALLY play it much (I'm so spoiled to the Mineral Town games XD).

Ok, now for the fan-rant... Ahem:

Allow me then. Rick is actually more of an machinist than a blacksmith in HM64, though he does run the tool shop. He's closer to Ann(from SNESHM/MM) in personality, and he's actually Ann(FoMT version, roughly) & Gray's cousin. Ann and Gray are siblings in HM64, and work with their dad on the local ranch.

As for pairings, Rick isn't paired with anyone. There are hints that he'd been in a relationship in the past(and even proposed), but it didn't work out. He took it in stride, apparently, and finds that he likes single life just fine anyway.

Another aspect of HM64 Rick is actually his relative unreliability. Out of all the shops in the village, his runs the shortest hours, opens the latest, and has the most days off(Wednesdays, Saturdays, and whenever it's raining/snowing). In fact, one of his events is when you walk in on Ann chewing him out about being closed all the time.

YES! I love Rick, really, I do. He was the first bachelor I married in MFOMT. After I threw a fit, of course, when I found out Carter wasn't a secret bachelor. I'm still angry about that. But still! Go Rick!
